About the Studio
At Hadashi we care for making functional and versatile products, based on timeless designs.
All our pieces are slowly handmade in small batches using sustainable and high-quality materials to ensure the durability of the items. We use 100% natural linen, with European Flax and OEKO-TEX S100 certification, combined with other natural materials.
We believe that the combination of natural materials is a way of highlighting its rawness, translating the connection to nature, our inspiration.
About Hadashi
“Hadashi” it’s the Japanese word for “barefoot”.
We thought that no other word could better translate our inspiration and intention at Hadashi Studio.
We believe that barefoot is the way we most connect to nature. We feel grounded. We feel the cold, the warmth, the textures...
We also chose the Japanese translation for the word because we feel inspired by the simplicity of Japanese minimalism and its elegance.
About The Founder
Teresa, the founder of Hadashi Studio, is a self-taught sewist.
She started sewing for fun in her adolescence (making her own clothes) later she attended some sewing courses to improve her sewing skills. Since over a decade, she sells handmade items.
She is a fan of functionality, and loves to be surrounded by simple, beautiful things. She also loves the outdoors, to travel, and to enjoy the cosiness of her home.
